Biochar Chicken Litter Spread will help to remove odour and moisture from the litter, binding ammonia and nitrogen. Used on the litter, it locks in moisture and organic and inorganic nitrogen compounds. The nitrogen adsorption and the continuous drying of the litter deprive the microbial pathogens of their nutrient base and reduce toxic emissions of ammonia. After a short period of time a decrease in odour will be very noticeable. When used with the Biochar Feed Additive the reduction in odour is increased.
– The shed will require turning every week to 1.5 weeks, instead of every 2.5 days.
– Chickens can get to weight earlier and the litter makes a better compost. 11- 15 kg per shed spread over the litter base. 2200m3 shed.
Dosage: 11-15 KG spread over the litter base in a 2200 m3 Shed.
